In this Lunch&Learn event, Ania will discuss the topic of false news and misinformation and how Facebook deals with it to improve media literacy.

Ania Helseth is a Policy Manager for Facebook in Brussels office. In her role, she is responsible for evaluating various digital policy developments at the EU level as well as for formulating of the company's positions, focusing especially on the IP and intermediary liability issues. Prior to that, she worked at various trade associations, including American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, served as a Policy Advisor at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU. She started her career in Brussels as an MEP advisor in the 2004-2009 legislature. She holds a law degree from Oxford University.
