Every five years citizens of the European Union decide who will be the new Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). Once the MEPs are elected, they become a part of one of the transnational political groups. The big question of the elections therefore is which one of these European groupings will be the one with the greatest influence in the next term. As five years since the last elections of the European Parliament have almost past, we have approached the time when political campaigns are taking shape.
The European political groups express the interests of European political parties within the European Parliament. The European political parties have the exclusive right to campaign during the European elections. In the European Election series we will one by one discover the campaigning practices of ALDE, ECR, EPP and PES. .
Join us at this Lunch & Learn Session with Philipp Hansen for an eye-opening and lively session on campaigning of the ALDE party.
