Continuing our Professional Development Series, Beverley Robinson will discuss ways in which to manage your career.

Career paths today are no longer as straightforward as they were in the past. According to Sheryl Sandberg, they are now more like ‘a jungle gym’ (where you) move sideways, move down, move on, move off.” So how do you stay in control in a non-linear job market? Beverley Robinson, the managing partner of RobinsonHenry, a Brussels-based leadership & coaching company, will lead a session specifically designed to the needs of young professionals under the age of 35 who want to take control of their career path.

Beverley’s experience and expertise in leading international teams in the Asia Pacific region, the US and Europe will inform the presentation and discussion. During the session Beverley will introduce the basic principles of networking, effective elevator pitches, managing online and social media presence, the role of headhunters, and mid-career CV and cover letter writing.
