One year on from the adoption of the Digital Single Market Strategy, the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium is organising the conference "Digital Single Market: Bridging the Gap" to view the progress made in three key sectors and the next steps for a successful implementation of the Strategy. A fully functioning DSM is estimated around €415 billion and there are still a number of challenges that need to be tackled to bridge the gap between member states as well as private and public sector.

Our high-level speakers including Commissioner Oettinger, Juhan Lepassaar, Head of Cabinet to Vice-President Andrus Ansip and Robert Madelin from the EPSC, will cover the current challenges of the DSM and address the work done by the European Commission so far. Other speakers include senior EU officials, parliamentarians, trade bodies and business leaders who will discuss the future challenges for business in the areas of finance, health and industry 4.0.
