The second High - level European Conference centred on the fight against serious organised crime will take place in April 2015, co-hosted by Europol and the British Chamber of Commerce amd organised by Forum Europe.

This event will provide a platform for EU policymakers and law enforcement authorities to dicuss with business leaders means of fighting serious and transnational crime, which poses an increasing threat to EU and global security.

The conference will focus in particular on, counterfeit goods, excise & VAT fraud and cybercrime which have a major impact on legitimate business.

The conference will feature a keynote address by the new Vice- President for Budget and Human Resources, Kristalina Georgieva and other confirmed top- level speakers including:

  • Rob Wainwright, Director, Europol
  • Ingeborg Graessle MEP, Chair of the Committee for Budgetary Control, European Parliament
  • Matthias Ruete, Director General, DG HOME, European Commission
  • Claude Moraes MEP, Chair of the Committee for Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, European Parliament
