Overview

Data-science, and its cousin analytics are a booming business. Just look at the market value of data-scientists nowadays. And yet, many companies struggle to apply the use of data-science and analytics to improve their management decisions. In this course, we will explain exactly what data-science and analytics are, what benefits they bring to management and where the pitfalls are. But, most importantly, we will introduce a very simple method and apply that to the business question you bring to the course to help you get started on the analytical path to success.

Training / Workshop Leader

Bernie Caessens holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. As a post-doc he switched to the neurosciences and investigated how the brain makes decisions. After several years he moved from the university to corporate life and worked in consumer electronics and biotechnology. He held various management roles prior to starting his own company. Bernie has extensive experience in neuroscience, data-modelling, programming and artificial intelligence and is fascinated by the application of science to solve business issues, especially when they involve human behavior.
