Nathalie van Ypersele holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, USA and a master in Journalism from University College London. She completed her education with various courses such as International journalism at Columbia University, USA, Coaching and Consulting for Change at Insead, France, Global Leadership and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, USA and Global Issues at Yale, USA. In 2010, Nathalie was nominated as a Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum. Nathalie started her professional career in 1997 as a journalist at Trends-Tendances, Roularta Media Group, interviewing top Belgian and international politicians and businessmen. She was also in charge of in-depth portraits of key personalities and inside business stories, and won two press prizes for her articles. In 2008, she was promoted editor in chief of the monthly business magazine, Bizz. A year later, she joined Trends-Tendances as editor in chief. She joined akkanto in 2011 and specialises in strategic media relations and corporate communication. Nathalie’s key clients include LVMH, Brussels Airport, Solvay, Bpost, Lhoist, Immobel and some family businesses.
