Matti Supponen is an administrator in the European Commission. Currently working in DG Energy on various Internal Electricity Market subjects, in particular on electricity market design issues. Supponen’s earlier works includes TEKES, a Government agency under the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry,  in the Finnish Embassy in Brussels as Scientific Counsellor and in Finnish Companies, inter alia EKONO (Energy Consulting),  and Strömberg (Manufacturing of Electrical Apparatus for transmission and distribution networks).
