As part of our series with speakers from the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg to the EU the Security task force is delighted to welcome Laure Wagener, who will speak on her country's presidency plans for the personal data protection reform.
As a task force briefing this event will be limited to 20 people, and 1 per member company, in order to best encourage the sharing of information.

Laure Wagener is in charge of EU policy in the fields of data protection, media and telecommunications at the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg to the European Union. She can draw on a vast experience in relations with EU institutions, national governments and stakeholder organisations. Laure has been representing Luxembourg in the negotiations on the reform of the EU data protection legal framework from the beginning and will be chairing the Council Working Party during the Luxembourg Presidency. She is also closely coordinating Digital Single Market issues. Prior to joining Luxembourg’s Permanent Representation in 2008, Laure was press officer to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg. She holds degrees in political science from universities in the United Kingdom and the United States. Laure speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, English, Spanish and Dutch. Coming from a small, multinational and outward-looking country, she is passionate about the European project.
