.Genevra Forwood advises and litigates on a broad range of areas of EU law, across a variety of industrial sectors ranging from energy and manufacturing to pharmaceutical and chemicals. Genevra advises on the application of all aspects of EU competition law, including antitrust and State aid rules. She has particular experience of cartel investigations, regularly defending clients in cartel proceedings. Genevra also advises clients on other aspects of EU regulatory compliance, and has broad experience of a range of EU secondary legislation. She assists clients with their own compliance, and has also drafted a number of complaints to the European Commission in respect of failures of Member States to comply with their obligations under EU law. Genevra's litigation practice spans all these areas of EU law. She has acted in a number of cases before the EU courts in Luxembourg. As a barrister at the Bar of England and Wales, Genevra undertook her pupillage in a leading set of commercial chambers in London, where she gained first-hand experience in litigation before the English courts, as well as commercial arbitrations. She is a member of the European Bar Group.
