What you need to know about the new Belgian business immigration rules

Whether UK nationals will require authorisation to work and reside in Belgium as third country nationals, and as of when, is not yet clear. In addition, new business immigration rules for all third country nationals came into force in Belgium in December.During this session, Sophie Maes, Attorney-Partner at Claeys & Engels, will discuss and share her first-hand practical experiences after more than half a year of new business immigration rules as well as the Brexit no-deal contingency rules so companies can prepare.

Trade and Australia’s relationship with the EU with Ambassador Justin Brown

Australia trades approximately 15% of its goods with the EU, with the biggest exports being gold, coal and oil seeds. In return, it imports motor vehicles, medical tools and pharmaceuticals. In 2016, total trading between the two totalled nearly $70 billion.
