Boglárka Bólya is a Doctor of Law and Political Sciences and an expert in European Law. She graduated summa cum laude from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest,Hungary. Furthermore she holds a certificate in European Studies from the Centre International de Formation Européenne in Cologne and a Masters in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In the past Dr Bolya has worked for the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hungarian Presidency of the EU (Chair of the Council Working Party on the drafting of the Accession Treaty with Croatia, 2011). Since 2003, she has been working for the EPP Group at the European Parliament, first as political adviser for the Petitions Committee, since 2004 as an adviser on the Legal Affairs Committee which she currently combines with her role as the Jurisconsulte of the EPP Group. She advises Members on political and legal issues connected to their Committee work, drafts legislative proposals and prepares the EPP position on several parliamentary issues.
