Philip Jacobs

Philip is an investment director of IANUA Market and a Senior Advisor of Deutsche Credit Capital Partners. Before he has been with Morgan Stanley as a Capital Markets Structurer for 7 years. He has advised in structured finance related transactions including project finance, leveraged finance derivatives credit analysis, real estate and non-performing loan portfolio business and financial modelling for a broad scope of investors and vendors across the capital structure, products, documentations and jurisdictions. He has gained experience in CLO, CMBS, RMBS and NPL securitisations. Prior to that, Philip worked in Strategic Equity Derivatives with a focus on margin loan and collar financing, convertibles and implied/realized volatility solutions. Philip has been a delegate in various expert commissions on capital market financing of German Mid-Market corporates and LMA/ISDA related topics (Private Debt, German distressed market, recognition and enforcement of contracts) and has worked as an expert for the German Ministry of Finance. He has particular interests in financial econometrics and restructuring. Philip holds a Dipl. in Math with distinction from the Technical University of Munich.
